REST: How to live for it

REST: It’s a subject I am not particularly well versed in considering I have taken one holiday in the past 5 years, but ‘rest’ is something that has not only become so important in todays professional age, but admittedly, to me too! ⠀
Today there are so many ways to be restful and with the ever growing awareness and significant of ‘wellness’ in our lives it’s no wonder that even ‘rest’ itself has got its own scale!
From full blown spa days, to a night out with friends, a long bath, quiet dinner at home or day at the beach, being restful should ALWAYS be about doing whatever makes you feel MOST YOU (even if it’s watching Downton Abbey on a Friday night while eating gluten free cheese pizza in bed!!!) 💫
I was lucky enough to go for a micro vacay a few weeks ago to @northbeachbungalow to celebrate our gorgeous rebrand and maybeeee a major life birthday too 😉! ⠀
From swimming to dining to dancing to cheersing and everything in between, this jam packed weekend was one of the best ‘rests’ I have had in so damn long, and was a great reminder just how different our outlooks on ourselves and others can be! 💥
So remember to refocus, detach and think about what makes you feel truly at peace✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
